Vino 2009

With the help of our amazing team of board members and volunteers, sponsors, chefs, and musicians, we raised nearly $6000 to support Ravenwood programs for 2009!  Vino is a special night and we thank all those who attended and gave of their time, goods, and precious finances to make Vino 2009 a HUGE success!  See you next year...

Winter Camping Trip

Three father and son pairs joined Ravenwood guest instructor, Luc Tunkel for an awesome weekend on Crane Mountain near Bigfork.  We built three different style snow shelters, had some solo time, did a little tracking, learned how to harvest and fashion primitive arrows, took some spins with the hand drill,  shared meals and stories, and enjoyed getting to know each other around the fire.  Special thanks to Saddlehorn and Flathead Lake Lodge for the support and access to their incredible property.

One of the secret ingredients to the impact of Ravenwood programs is the strategic use of stories to create a landscape for learning that taps into deep brain pathways developed across our collective ancestral time.  We're always trying to harvest good stories from our own experiences, from rich cultural traditions, and from our imaginations.
